A Couple Of Days In Plockton

Myself, my good lady and friends Nick and Siobhan spent a couple of days in Plockton, an idyllic village in the north west of Scotland. Oh, the sun was shining too!

Plockton was made famous by being the location Hamish Macbeth (the break for Scottish actor Robert Carlyle) was filmed in but to me it’s always been a lovely, tranquil and beautiful little harbour village in the north west of Scotland. What better place to spend a weekend with friends while the sun’s shining?!

Sorry we missed you this time (we were slumming it at the Athol Palace hotel in pitlochry, the extent of my holidays for 2009, something to do with having a 30 week pregnant wife!
Glad to see you had a good trip

    • Cheers, I’ve got your new address (and removed it to thwart evil spammers)! Not to worry, being heavily pregnant ain’t no fun!

We did have a great time and will make sure we drop by next time we’re up! Torridon doesn’t seem to have changed much since I was last there with you but the roads seem slightly better – and the midges are just as vicious!
