I was lucky enough to have a couple of hours to kill in Harrogate yesterday while waiting for my car to be serviced. I brought my camera along and took a few pictures of the nice autumn colours. This is what Harrogate looks like at this time of year.
Very pretty
The one with the grey backgound sums up Harrogate on many levels though. Very astute artistic and cultural commentary there.
The Copper Beach has to be the best colour though.
BORING FACT
===========
The leaves will stay on trees longer and there will be more variety of colour this year due to the extra sugar available in the trees from the long, warm summer.

END OF BORING FACT
Cheers Ade.
And that fact may be boring, but I was wondering why the leaves were staying on so long. Normally they’re green one day and brown and on the ground the next.
